My husband Gary just had a book published!!! It's titled Until Death Do Us Part, and it's a sequel to his first Mel book. If possible, I like this one even better. :-)
Blurb and link below:
Melody "Mel" Rush is an average thirty something, if you consider talking with the dead
and having worked as The Grim Reaper's personal private eye.
Four years ago Mel took on Death's case, retrieving an artifact to save reality from
a rebellion of one of its principle managers, Time itself. She came out of the
deal having her name erased from Death's roles and ageless, but even more
connected to a supernatural world most normal people don't even know
exists.
It's this attunement with the paranormal that lets Mel see a shadow lurking at the
window of an abandoned house. Seeing this new horror drags her into a web of
love, murder, and greed that will show her the world is bigger and stranger than
she dared imagine.

Happy New Year
Haven't been posting much lately...no excuse really, just haven't, but I have re-committed to my blog.
Nothing much going on with my writing...published Chimera, and I will have a sequel coming out to The Reckoning sometime in 2014. I guess that's pretty good, what I mean by no progress is my luck with big publishers. :-)
Been reading Jane Yolan recently. She is, in my opinion, the BEST re-teller of fairy tales. That's not all she does, mind you, but she is an expert on staying true to the original story, yet her stories are always sooooo different and wonderful. My new faves are The Thirteenth Fey, obvious which fairy tale this is but still fab, and Summer Snow, which isn't at first. I wasn't even sure it WAS a retelling. But when I realized which one it was...OMG, SO powerful.
